Energy Procurement
Firstly, we will assess your current situation – confirm your current supplier, establish when your contract is due to end and any termination requirements. We will also establish which meters you are using and will confirm your consumption, voltage and kVA.
We will then carry out an extensive cost comparison of all available market prices to enable us to present to you all the available options to ensure you obtain the most competitive options for your supply.
Invoice Validation
Sometimes discrepancies can occur on your energy and water bills. We understand that this can be a time consuming and difficult process to correct, especially if you are unfamiliar with the energy and water supplier processes. Therefore we offer our clients a service which includes the following:
- Checking the contract rates agreed have been applied correctly and that invoices are accurate and reflective of usage
- All billing is based on accurate consumption, we will ask you to provide meter reads and will submit them to suppliers
- That the correct VAT rates have been applied to your account, depending on your business status
- Presentation of annual budget proposals based on actual consumption including all energy charges - to help you budget ahead
- Dispute resolution where supplier inaccuracies arise
Supplier Dispute Resolution
When we validate invoices we often identify discrepancies within our clients’ bills - this has helped save our clients significant sums
If we identify any discrepancies, we will investigate and negotiate an acceptable settlement between yourselves and the supplier. We will negotiate refunds and in certain circumstances we will negotiate compensation or ensure that suppliers apply the Code of Practice for Accurate Billing. This service has resulted in the return of many thousands of pounds for our clients. (In a very recent case we negotiated £32,000.00 compensation for our client).
